Inuvika Releases New OVD Enterprise 2.7.0 with Multi-Tenancy

Toronto, Canada  – Inuvika announced the release of the latest version of its application and desktop virtualization solution, OVD Enterprise 2.7.0.  OVD Enterprise delivers virtualized Windows and Linux applications and desktops from private or public clouds to any device, without the cost and complexity of competing solutions.

Version 2.7.0 adds new support for multi-tenant deployments. The addition of multi-tenancy gives Managed Services Providers and enterprises the ability to deliver shared services to multiple organizations (or “tenants”) from a single instance of OVD Enterprise.  At the same time, tenants are fully isolated from one another, protecting corporate data. OVD 2.7.0 includes multi-tenancy as a standard feature and requires no separate modules to purchase or install.

Julien Langlois, Chief Technology Officer for Inuvika, said: “Version 2.7.0 is a significant step for empowering enterprises and Managed Services Providers to offer virtualized app and desktop services across multiple Active Directory domains from one centralized OVD server farm.  IT departments can lower costs and realize new operational efficiencies by sharing resources across different organizations and eliminating the need for dedicated environments.  OVD 2.7.0 also consolidates tenant management through our single Web-based administration console, further reducing the cost of administration and system maintenance.  We are delighted to be able to deliver these new capabilities to our customers and partners.”

The 2.7.0 version release also includes important maintenance fixes and previously released updates for OVD.  Existing OVD subscribers are encouraged to upgrade.   For more details, refer to the OVD 2.7.0 Release Notes.  For more information on OVD Enterprise 2.7.0, visit https://www.inuvika.com/whats_new
